The electric iron was invented to make ironing clothes more easy and people would not have Our life would be different if the electric iron was not invented in that we would have to use other large heating objects and risk burning ourselves. James King invented the washing machine. In America, in 1851, James King designed the first washing machine. It was a more efficient way to keep clothes clean. Our life would be different without this invention because if this was not invented we would have to manually wash clothes.
